VESPERA AVOCATS, advises ANCA backed by German powerhouse Beta Group for their majority investment in French production Outfit STUPEFY to develop and produce ambitious audiovisual and cinematographic content.
The law firm VESPERA AVOCATS advised the French company ANCA, an investor in audiovisual production companies.
ANCA (“A new creative alliance”) was created by two former Lagardère Studio executives, Rose Brandford Griffith (former Managing Director of French productions) and Christophe Thoral (former President of the production group sold to Mediawan), which is backed by German powerhouse BETA GROUP. ANCA’s objective is to provide specific support to each production company in which it invests. ANCA is an investor, a talent incubator and a growth accelerator.
The production company STUPEFY was founded in 2018 by Alexandre Dahan and initially produced several award-winning short films such as “I am your father”, directed by Justine le Pottier and broadcast on HBO. Stupefy is now developing several fiction projects and is interested in all genres. Alexandre Dahan is also co-president of the FJPI, Federation of Young Independent Producers.
